We kicked off the new year at a neighborhood party outdoors. We are finding out we really like our neighbors. The Robert's house and yard was full of laughter, children running everywhere, old and new music, munchies, fun chit-chat. All of the neighbors in the group are unpretentious, life-loving, educated and handsome group. We are all parents trying to live balanced lives, eschew problems, small time suck-the-marrow-of-life types. We look forward to periodic get- together with all of them.
We missed Susana’s fire this year. We were sick. It looked like a perfect sunset for it too. I heard that it was a lot of fun. Luckily we did get together with the groupies in the first days of the year. So fun to chat in Southamerican and demand that the Chileans return the Huascar to Peru after the first drink or two. And although the Pisco is Peruvian; well, let’s do forget about it and just enjoy Pisco sours together, over and over, over ceviche or pastel de choclo or what ever. Salud to you all!
